Camp Dullstroom ’26

The weekend begins with a relaxed afternoon arrival, heading towards the misty highlands of Dullstroom, either by self-drive or optional shuttle. Arrive at a dam-side campsite in the late afternoon and take your time setting up camp beside the water, letting the pace of the city gently fall away. As evening settles in, gather around the fire for a campfire dinner and games night, sharing stories, laughter, and stargazing beneath the open sky.

Wake early to morning tea and a light travel breakfast before a short transfer to Uitvlugt Farm for our Ama Poot Poot Trail hike. The trail unfolds through open landscapes and quiet highland beauty, with a snack stop at the peak to pause and take it all in. After returning to camp to freshen up, head into town for a leisurely lunch at Harrie’s Pancakes and free time to explore Dullstroom’s charming shops and cafés. In the afternoon, have a SURPRISE fun experience with a cool keepsake to take home! We head back to camp for dinner and a relaxed camping-themed evening around the fire.

The final morning begins slowly with a light breakfast at camp, followed by packing up and a last look across the dam. Before heading home, enjoy a horse-riding experience through the surrounding countryside — a peaceful way to close the weekend. An optional lunch at a local restaurant rounds off the journey before a leisurely drive back home, arriving refreshed, grounded, and carrying memories of connection and open skies!
