Itinerary
The adventure begins early with a scenic drive to the ‘berg, either by self-drive or optional shuttle. By early afternoon, arrive at camp and soaking in the dramatic Amphitheatre views. The afternoon unfolds gently, allowing time to explore The Cascades, your surroundings and ease into nature. As the sun dips behind the peaks, gather for a relaxed welcome braai and games night — the perfect way to break the ice and set the tone for a weekend of connection and shared moments.
Wake up to morning tea, pastries, and crisp mountain air before setting out on a scenic hike in Royal Natal National Park, including the iconic Gudu Falls. After the hike, enjoy a slow afternoon — swim in natural pools, picnic by the dam, or rest among the mountains. Later, we head out for a comforting late lunch at Tower of Pizza before returning to camp. The evening brings a full, hearty braai and campfire desserts, followed by another starlit night in the Berg
Begin the final morning with a light breakfast and pack-up, taking one last look at the mountains before heading out for a two-hour horse-riding experience through the surrounding landscapes — a peaceful, grounding way to close the weekend. An optional lunch stop follows on the road before the journey back home, with full hearts, new connections, and memories shaped by nature and community!
