Magalies Spring Camp ’26

Your adventure begins at midday with arrival at your campsite in Magalies. Whether you choose self-drive or our optional shuttle service, you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome. Once at camp, you’ll set up your tent and get settled for the weekend. In the early afternoon, join a short hike to the rolling natural pools, where you can cool off with a refreshing swim. Later, relax poolside with sundowners and snacks before our Welcome Braai and games night around the campfire—a perfect opportunity to connect with fellow campers and set the tone for an unforgettable weekend.

Rise early for a light breakfast, morning tea, and a hiking pack before heading out on a guided morning game drive. After returning to camp, enjoy leisure time and lunch, followed by an afternoon swim at the natural pool with the slide—one of Magalies’ most special reserve’s hidden gems. As evening falls, gather for dinner and a campfire night, complete with dessert and storytelling. The day is all about balancing adventure with relaxation, creating moments to explore, connect, and recharge.

Happy Freedom Day! Start the final day with a light breakfast before embarking on our last hike and morning swim of the weekend—a guided adventure through breathtaking scenery. After the hike, you have the option to stop for lunch at The Black Horse before packing up camp. By mid-afternoon, it’s time to say goodbye and drive back home, filled with memories of community, adventure, and connection!
